About your privacy

About your privacy

This site is fundamentally committed to a privacy-first approach. As such, when you visit b2bmarketing.tv, we do not as a matter of course track you or set cookies, and you will not be retargeted across the web.

How we use your data if you simply visit the site anonymously...

We do not collect personal data for any general visitor to the b2bmarketing.tv site. No cookies will be set on your machine by us and you will not be tracked in any way that will identify you as an individual. (It’s why you didn’t see one of those annoying consent notices when you came to the site.)

It is, however, possible that some of the embedded content (or more precisely the companies hosting it) will set cookies or tracking.

But what about analytics?

Like most sites, we use analytics to assess how the site is performing across a variety of metrics. However, we use Fathom Analytics for this purpose. Fathom gives us all the information we require with no need to identify individuals. It’s pretty cool.

But what about if I subscribe?

If you subscribe for updates, we'll ask for the minimum data we need — your email address. That's it.

You will then receive an email to confirm it's you. This will add you to an automated list that will notify you each time a new piece of content is added to the site. It also acts as opt-in permission for us to hold your details.

We'll then use a cookie to recognise you when you come back to the site.

In the site's back end, we'll also be able to see what you've viewed while logged in and the system makes a guess about where you are in the world.

This is the only way we'll use this information. You will not be added to any other mailing list (we don’t have any) and we will never sell or give your data to any third-party.

Unsubscribing is easy — the fastest way is to use this link. Alternatively, click the round icon at the bottom right of your screen or on the 'Subscribe to updates' link at the top. Then slide the newsletter subscription switch to off. You can also use this link to log-out and return to being an anonymous visitor.

If you want to know if we have your personal details, what details we hold and/or want them deleted, simply email us at hello@consideredcontent.com and we’ll be happy to help.

Your data rights…

You have a number of rights about how your data is used (by us or any other business). These include:

  • The right to know how we acquired your data
  • The right to see the data we hold about you
  • The right to have inaccurate data corrected
  • The right to have your data erased (subject to any legal limitations)
  • The right to restrict or object to data processing
  • The right to data portability (so, you can receive the data we hold about you and send it to another party)
  • The right to not be subject to automated decision-making
  • The right to complain if you think we’re doing something wrong or against your wishes

We fully support you in all of these rights.
